Dr. Edwin Tulloch-Reid has been a practising Physician and Cardiologist in Jamaica since 1997. He has served as Consultant Cardiologist at the Heart Institute of the Caribbean since its inception, and also has a consultative practice at the Andrews Memorial Hospital, where he is a board member. He served 12 years at the Kingston Public Hospital. His current academic appointment is as Adjunct Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Technology and he is former Associate Lecturer in the Department of Medicine of the University of the West Indies (UWI), where he remains an Honorary Consultant in the Department of Medicine. He is also a member of the Medical Council of Jamaica and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
His interests include travel, fitness, comparative religion and modern languages. This noted Cardiologist is fluent in French, and conversant with Spanish and German; he is currently 1st Vice-President of the Alliance Française de la Jamaïque. He also remains an active member of the Jamaican German Society, having previously served on its executive.
